Lets come back to the contexte. I like the way Adam stays rational and professional but Michael ir Eve wasn't completely wrong. Let's not forget Adam isn't even an A grade esper so what he was doing was merely slow suicide. As for the end of the link or whatsoever between them i might get ragebait for saying this but it was stupid. He said it's over without considering that Eve yes can be égoïstic and possessive but also cares for him and instead of understanding the why he just presumed it was for the same reason as earlier.
