@Owner japanese is known for slow release unlike Korean and china for once a week but that doesn't mean it's better for the artist because more work for them but like really for Japan you can count on this behavior 1.once a week (very good) 2. Once every 2-3 week ( wth) 3. Once a month (this is ridiculous) 4. Once a few months (yea artist is procrastinating) usually due to budget/staff or artist that struggling with story progression if it's just promotion for novel the manga will be in category 3 or 4 because writer will be more active than paying artist to adapt it
