@Galactic Navy Officer Did you not read that she looked down on him too much and she never would've imagined a headbutt? Also the condition is they can use energy but not magic. Do you even read bruh?

@Constellation of Dark Phoenix Yet, the MC said that part of what he was counting on is that she was bad at using magic. Which means he was expecting her to use it.

And if she's an "experienced fighter" yet didn't expect a headbutt, she's an idiot. In battle, anything goes, including headbutts and crotch shots.
