@Rosa They're made by the same author but that's not the reason for the comparison. I'm merely using Josh as the standard because he's the best dad ever and I think this pushover could borrow a leaf from him. The mc having a traumatic childhood and whatnot doesn't justify letting just anyone walk all over his daughter. Infact, since he knows they're all nasty, he should be fiercely protective of her and not let his infatuation come before his daughter. I have nothing against him, I just hate to see a pushover dad who can't stand up for his kid...
