@Killerdude because literally two chapters ago was shown as something horrible that he would get raped and now it is done by the supposed love intrest of the story
The only difference is that those guys where that they weren't as attractive

@Oh nor not agaim If you think about it, Aaron’s mental health was foreshadowed multiple times. Not to mention the signs of him being unwell, such as difficulty expressing emotion and being “calm” all the time. If you reread the story, you might see that this is actually in line with what was going on. 

In my own comment, I explain it more but I’ll keep this short:

Yujin was Aaron’s first working fix for his trauma induced insomnia. Going without sleep for a very long time like Aaron really f*s your mental health, and he wasn’t healthy to begin with. In the flashbacks of his life, you could see how he was raised, and how it was terrible. Yujin being his fix suddenly disappeared, leaving him unable to sleep and going into a mental breakdown.
