- Gwen IS a good guy :) he is a mage from the Labyrinth - which is a place where the most powerful mages gather, he's more than 300 yrs old (if I remember right) and he's interested in the research of dragons's mates, but he didn't expect to fall in love with Na-in :)
- Na-in was once human, a long time ago, but was killed very young and Amon took him as a mate (in fact, created him inside his own body after devouring him), he's bound to Amon and can not live without him, as their souls are literally bound together, but the one who can truly understand him and give him the love he seeks is Gwen, not Amon
- Amon is a dragon, not able to feel human emotions, so he cares for Na-in, as he is his mate and his reason of living, but can't give him what he truly needs
