@Koiji Mandoza Cheating has a number of possible motivations. It isn't always a fetish. I think it usually isn't in fact. I've never cheated on someone. I did notice I was attracted to someone new despite being in a relationship once, however. I avoided her so I didn't cheat. The fact I wanted to was a red flag though. Something I'd have taken more seriously if I were less naive back then. It's a sign the current relationship isn't working, and you have to choose whether to try to fix it or not. I tried back then, and failed. She broke up with me months later instead. Some people will cheat simply because they don't actually care much about their relationship. Others to try to "trade up". Others because they spend time with someone new, get new relationship excitement feelings they didn't have for a long time, and confuse that with a good decision. This is not a complete list. All of them are liars. They lie in different ways, with different motivations. I wish it were uncommon enough to call it a "fetish", but no. The kind of character that lets a person understand their own limits correctly and not put themselves in position to cheat...and the motivation to behave honestly in the first place...people with both of those traits seem exceptional. Very few people will admit that they will cheat if played under conditions it's likely in advance. A huge % of those people are lying to themselves. Some avoid cheating by chance despite that false belief. Many actually cheat. It sucks.
