I just heard the news that this manhwa is actually ending at chapter 50. According to novel readers, a massive chunk of the original story got completely cut out. At this point it’s not even just a rushed ending, the story was straight up axed and gutted.

What they cut out is literally the arc where Asel feels deeply insecure about his relationship with the ml, which is the whole reason the novel is titled Salt Heart in the first place. Their dynamic doesn't just wrap up neatly after getting married either, bcs there were still lingering issues they had to work through even after getting closer.

I was honestly already confused by this manhwa adaptation bcs novel reviews mentioned that Asel and the ml barely had any actual romantic chemistry in the novel. Yet here in the manhwa, they somehow fast-tracked their relationship into a full-blown romance at lightning speed.
Now I wanna know if it actually gets any better or not. Does ML fall in love in the end? Or they just live like this in turmoil forever?
