it's a story with complex characters, so i get why some readers don't like it. i love how damien is basically an anti-hero in his own story because it makes him a much more entertaining ml. chloe is so good, as well! i think the author captured how complicated human emotions are through her. their love is unconvential (and toxic) but my g** it is such a well-written (and drawn, the art is so beautiful!) story!
