You know seeing this, I can partially understand why the son turn out the way he did, but that doesn't mean that I can excuse the son for his delusions. He**, where is the mother in all of this. When I first saw her I though she seemed like a reasonable person, but than how could her son still turn out the way he did and if the father's abuse was the reason for it, where was she. A twised family for a twisted son it seems.

@Jamiro Jacott So who wants to bet that her father was NEVER that bad of a business man but the Duke saw Baron Pales' good fortune in picking businesses that would bring profit after soon time and caused all the problems that caused him to have to sell them off in order to secretly buy them at a lower price. And that he purposely kept the Pales' poor inorder to keep him near himself so he could know good opportunities for business. And that's why Person is so obsessed with her, his father wants to keep the golden goose close by.
