@literallyathy Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this just a fictional manhwa with no specifications on what religious beliefs it has? Which G** from a certain religion are you referring to? Additionally, isn't this a supernatural and historical manhwa? I think it is only right to include beliefs in religion since it's in the historical genre, which also means that it is heavily influenced by religion. If the creator does not know what they are doing, they would've called this religion of theirs as Catholic or maybe even Buddhism. If you're going to question the writer, please have additional details and backing statements in your comment. It is not right to call something as blasphemous if you do not understand this story is nothing but fiction, G**(s) from any religion wouldn't bat an eye to this since it doesn't mention them. If this is how you react to manhwa's like this, make sure you never read history on corrupt churches and priests, you might end yourself.

Girl this is a fictional story. If you don't know what that means I'll tell you; Fictional stories are stories that are made by the author/writer's imagination or mind and are mostly not real! The author is not mentally insane nor super blasphemous for making this coz it's from their imagination (even if it had inspiration from real religions it's still their own made up story) 💀

@literallyathy its like you never read anything from this genre. the temple is usually the villains in these settings. it's fiction and it's just putting [religion/belief/saints/holiness] juxtaposed to [evil/murder/inhumane]. the contrast pulls readers' interests.

and instead of saying that it's blasphemous, you couldve just said that this is not how religion works. bcuz it's really not how ANY religion works.

bcuz if you were reading, you would understand that the g** in the story is out of picture since they don't have their emotions anymore. so everyone is basically running around doing whatever they want disregarding those they hurt. while the g** of their religion is slowly losing themselves.
@literallyathy a lot of manhwa is. But as a Christian, I do understand that they are not the Jehovah we serve, more like made up entities to keep the stories going.
@literallyathy blasphemous act towards who? Fictional G**?
@literallyathy this has nothing to do with any G** from any religion in real life whatsoever ..
