the mc understood that no matter what he does, the stalker will never leave him, and at the same time, the stalker left too much of an imprint on him- there is no version of the future where our mc doesnt spend his days literally obsessing and crying over the pain and trauma associated with the stalker- but at the same time he realizes that being with the stalker also brings him pain and torment, and when he asked that other dude for help, he knew it didnt have to be all pain and torment- he could legit just turn the stalker into somebody he can tolerate and live with- he's trying to find a place where both of them can be themselves and still accommodate each other- which is still hella toxic ngl but the way things happened in the past and will continue to happen in the future, this is the best alternative for them
