I feel like Aqua would be good without a love interest, Kana and Aqua seem like close friends in a non-romantic way though to me, and Akane was a good green flag girlfriend but it felt like Aqua didn't really have feelings for her. Plus Aqua needs to focus on himself still, bro got beef w/ his sister now and is still seeking revenge for Ai.
