They're both so in love but also so traumatized and it's made their love maladaptive and cumbersome. Riddles with anxiety and miscommunication. When one of them attempts to communicate directly the other person misinterprets them or outright refuses to belive or acknowledge what they said because of trauma. They're just going in circles with each other ATP. I suggest therapy.
