@User.1099852  honestly...if he has just explained this to atleast the family members she would have not been treated so badly all these years.. I'm not even feeling sorry for them....the duke bought this on himself and the Duchess even warned him...

@siddhi surana yep, while emotionally abusive at least she was not starved or beaten ala other FL, the bas**** daughters/nieces/cousin. etc however we see how the isolation and neglect impacted her in the past and keeps impacting her. I'm curious if he would ever tell her the truth about her birth, he was protecting her from something yet did he plan to do so?

Credit to the wife that she did not abuse the daughter, we usually see them having generational strife with the kids if that is the case, in part it seems that she was aware that their marriage was a business agreement between families rather true love or something, he seemed to have respected her in the marriage save for one point where he did not ask her to get envolved with a kid that he himself did not involve himself either.

@User.1099852  I bet if the duke didn't bring that contract limiting all interactions with FL, the Duchess would at least try her best to be a good foster mom, she's the only one who showed any sign of regret from everything, while the brothers thought they could simply erase the past and move on to be like a perfect family, like all those years never happened, man I'll miss the Duchess if their family gets out of the picture for the main stage.

@Mihzvol Wuriar well said, I think they will be removed from the picture for a time, I'm personally curious if they will have learned their lessons for when the og FL appears, not to mention if she will be pure evil as usual or a normal person

@User.1099852  IIRC, this was already talked about, she'll either be a normal person or wouldn't be adopted at all, because that only happens when the fake villainess exists, and the reincarnator is actually the real "villainess/saint" soul, so it is possible for the og not even be in the story in the future.

EDIT: TTrying to be more specific, the villainess from the story is the fake soul, while the reincarnator of the story we're reading is the real soul, the saint, the only clue to what happens in this timeline future we have is from the merc's past, where she's in her 20s and come back in time to save him, other than that, we know nothing.

@Mihzvol Wuriar I get it, sadly I'm a bit burned out as a lot of stories make the OG FL close to satan levels

Yesterday I speed read "the one within the villainess" and the og saint was pretty much the worst person possible, she was even treated as a devil at the end of the series, but, there is one that the OG FL is actually as good as the og story, it's called "The Villainess Who Came to Marry Into the Frontier Noble's Household is an Exceptionally Capable Wife, Isn't She?"

I'd really love to find others but this is the only one I found, and it's updates are utterly slow.

I think I know that one, I read two web novels with the exact idea, does she have a scar on her face? the other one I remember the guy had adopted a kid into his household, he looked like a girl which confused the ''villainess'', I think the mc inherited his title because his father and brother died to monsters, the mother and sister I think dipped out and left for her family.

Hmm there was that I recently found on the site as well, I can't remember the name however the heroine is a normal person who was only adopted because she resembled the dead daughter of the couple, the villainess wants nothing to do with her as she can only remember her best friend, she doesn't hate her however neither does she want anything to do with her.

@User.1099852  you're exactly right about both I mentioned, in fact I found out about the first one because I saw the anime teaser on YT, it was interesting but I didn't like it that much tbh, too many plot holes for my taste, it's not that I didn't like it either. 

The second one is too small right now for any commentary on the plot too.

@Mihzvol Wuriar I searched for it however I couldn't find it, I think the translation was bad so I decided to drop it on the site, I searched in my reading history and couldn't find it so it might have been on another site, I'm going to clean up my bookmarked stories, once I find I'll post it
