gosh dude, with how diabel sudden change in personality it kinda makes me question it.. i personally think hes trying to create a distance between him and anaya so that when a moment arises where its life or death, anaya wouldn't scarifice herself again. also maybe the shift in sudden control of the devil, before diabel would always think and constantly stop himself from wanting ayana. but now that hes in control maybe the urge is less?

@karasuma I think he is trying to give everything to Anaya, and then died before fufilling the contract so she will avoid pay the price. Don't know if he became a devil just because of her, but that may be a reason, give everything to the one you love Vs take everything so the one you love had only you (Erez's way)
@cabellones honestly, i am a bit confused by what you are saying (its totally fine, english might've not been your first language). from what i'm getting is that you are saying diabel died, so anaya will pay the price for the contract. though, diabel never actually died, just turned into a devil, which is what im assuming youre saying. all of the things you have said were already proven true beforehand. it was stated before that anaya basically gives her life to diabel for the contract, which is paying the price for it. also diabel already has shown countless times his loyalty or love for ayana, especially when it comes to protecting her or cheering her up. its a good chance that because he wants to give everything to anaya, he became a devil for her to get the life she wants.

Diabel (i'm assuming) became a devil to help Anaya.
He make a contract with her that she will devour her soul in the end of her revenge. But if he dies before the contract can be fufill, she is free.
He may give a hint that his plans is to free her by dying. Giving everything she wanted, because he loved her from the previous life and was willing to sacrifice everything for her, even his soul.
That is the oposite of Erez kind of love, usurping her from everything to became her only world. (in the previous life, it was hint he did that when he offered mercy in the prision and in this life he was doing the same trying to kill Diabel by influence of the other devil)
