@Ava Yes, you're correct, they're fictional. However, the point is, we can't simply ignore the horrible things they've done to our MC. A fiction is, for sure, a fiction, but it does tell us a story. A story in which others or even you may relate to a certain part. Sure, the only fictional are the characters, locations, and story itself. And that's correct, but not something that actually happens in real life like being controlling, gambling, being indebted, kidnapping, being possessive, ra**, sexual assault and harassment, suicide, etc., something you already know. Either way, this is not something to be taken lightly. This is also not something that should be avoided or ignored (⁠･⁠–⁠･⁠)⁠ ⁠\⁠(⁠･⁠◡⁠･⁠)⁠/
