@louie kdjs gf DO NOT SETTLE FOR LESS!! I was in a similar situation where I had to compromise and go to a subpar university because my family thought not going to any college is worst than taking a gap year and try again. Now I couldn't even get out of my situation.
Take a gap year, take 2 if you have to. Choosing the right college is VERY IMPORTANT!!
