oh my gosh, genuinely the parallel of erez and diabel goes crazy, its driving me mad. erez thinks ayana only thinks and obsesse over diabel, but diabel says that he thinks ayana is consumed by the thought of getting revenge on erez instead of him. in a way, they think alike, just for different reasons. this also goes with their actions too, diabel is a yeaner and would do and give everything or anything for her. while erez is more of a i will make you dependent on me which causes him to take everything and anything from her to get ayana isolated. theyre such opposites of each other.. but also more alike than you think

@cabellones yes exactly, its just so strange to see the parallels of them. but honestly i love it, i also realized that there are some other parallels in the story. such as back when ayana got capture and diabel came to save her, ayana surrenders again to ensure diabels safety. just like how she did in her first life. this might be a sign of foreshadowing in a way, since major events like the plague or war occured or are about to happen like in her first life. maybe she'll end up losing everything again as her ending. this probably means she might lose diabel this time instead, since this time shes a lot more dependent and realized her true feelings for him. and the fact that he's losing control is not a good sign, losing diabel might be her ultimate 'ending' and of losing everything. but thats just a theory, a game theory! (matpat haha).
