guys, sorry for being a hater, but as the chapters progresses, the emperor feels useless asf. he's just there waiting on our fl and he feels bland and boring. I'm happy they have such a wonderful romance, and i understand this isn't a story about romance, but his character feels flat. i wish they gave him more important roles in the chapters. it just doesn't feel like he's the emperor, just some moody guy missing his wife 😭
@lise mind you but i expect you've read the whole manhwa and it's basically fl's revenge, and ofcourse fl will work more as she's the mc and independent and in within power as she's a regressor and lowkey asf i be really liking how he's now😭rather than being all cold and his biggest job would here be supporting fl so ig he is doing it. that is all imo, dont be a hater enjoy it, it's getting interesting
@lise the Emperor would've already ended berry if she so asked but she wanted to take her own revenge so ml is letting her do so by staying behind the scenes and lending her resources like men and money
@lise I think that's part of the charm! Its so Barbie and Ken coded, in that she stays at the center of the story, she has friends that she ACTUALLY prioritises and he is just a part of her life. Most stories with this plot line quickly progress into focusing only on their romantic relationship or how easy life is for her because she's garnered his affections but here, she has that but it's her brilliance that makes everything move. Which is refreshing tbh
