I completely expected this to finish right here and I'd've been satisfied with an ending like this. Any ideas why the witness backstabbed Panzel? Obviously the author had his reasons, but in terms of worldbuilding, there must've been something going on in the background to make it inconventient for the monster to die. Also, this cheapens the minotaurs strength. We see a lot of corpses around him, hinting at many years of duels and many warriors challenging him. They too could've been betrayed, meaning Panzel perhaps wasn't the only one to near defeat him.

@Batou usually a powerful monster isn't as much treat as the powerful human that can end with him. or at least that is how people in power think in this type of development.
