I don't really like this. I understood what is going on but then I'd also want it to be more realistic where he genuinely takes time to himself to reconcile with his past and see his mom. what I also don't like is the fact that they don't seem tk take hyesung's trauma seriously. this is just my opinion you can disagree but I just wanna stood firm with my opinion that I don't think this whole situation should be rush, brushed off or ignored. I would prefer it to be acknowledged and truly looked into than just making it look like something trivial.

@xanbun I am not disrespecting your opinion and yeah it is indeed very rushed, but this is not the main storyline where Dojin and HyeSung was the main character. It's just a loose end author tied up with his pov about this matter. Not every writer will be good at writing every emotion and mental traumas superbly! There will be different kind of measurements and opinions about the scenario. Maybe author didn't want this matter to be stretched out, when the theme is light fluffy school romance.
@Paro I see what you mean. It is true they're not the mc here and you're right writing isn't easy as I am a writer myself, though it's just something that I wish to be dealt with an acknowledged. thank you for being respectful! I'm glad that this didn't lead to an argument.
