I know I will receive hate for this but people hating on Alya and varkas are crazy or don't know how hard it for you to see your dad's or mom mistress child. Sure it's not there fault but that doesn't mean the other child have obligation to like the mistresse and dad child. It at times drives you crazy to see them to point you want just stab yourself so don't have to look at them. Alia haven't done anything remotely wrong like Talia. Who we ourselves admit is a villainess but that doesn't mean her actions should be justified. She's the one who haven't said a thing about her love towards verkas to him which is understandable because of the way she grew up but verkas doesn't have a obligation to fix her life at this particular period of time where he's promised to alya. Not to mention he himself have s*y life

@Misty_Emaoto yes but the crown prince purposely bullied her to the pointof beating a child much younger than himself. The thing is, both the siblings, and the thalias actions can be explained but not justified
@Dimple I don't like the crown prince the fact that he was groomd by the step mother is heartbreaking but him taking it out on thila is not even explainable. I just think hating on them is bad cuz this is a realistic story character as complex as then are bound to be domed
@Misty_Emaoto the thing with this is that not a single character in this story is truly morally "right" not thalia not alya not even varkas but thats exactly why they r so realistic. Ayla could have accepted thalia that day in the gardens but she didnt because thalia was the daughter of the woman who killed her mother, Varkas could've expressed his emotions better and acted nicer towards thalia but he didnt because nobody gave him a reason to and thalia could have solved her problems better and become a much more warm person but she didnt because this was easier, faster and less hurtful. They all had their own reasons to act the way they did, and while said reasons neither change their actions nor excuses them, it all makes their motivations clearer to the readers
