Like I don't understand the empress's father's attitude. Like he was the one who proposed their marriage and sent her off. She was so impressive and he didn't even ask for her opinion. Now he cares after they achieved so much. Like how can you even defend him saying he loves her.

@Calypso he ignored and fought with the former emperor until the emperor sent an order in writing saying he had to send Cassia there to marry Zester. He feels ashamed. You're right though, he should have asked for her opinion
