@Introvert And then
Spoiler!
Suddenly, a knight rushed in with shocking news. The Angenas family's soldiers were marching toward the Imperial Palace. Since the Emperor was believed to be dying, the Angenas family had quickly decided to seize power. This was almost an act of treason. The Empress ordered the Vice Commander to remove anyone blocking her way, but the Imperial Knights hesitated because they knew that drawing their swords would start a civil conflict. Finally, the commander drew his sword, and everyone stood in complete silence.
Before anyone could fight, the Emperor’s bedroom door opened. An attendant announced that the Emperor was awake and wanted everyone to come inside. Inside the room, Emperor Jovanes was weak and struggling to breathe, but he was conscious. Perez asked if he remembered what had happened before he collapsed. The Emperor pointed to the bottle of liquor on the floor and said it had been P O I S O N E D. Perez asked the doctor to test the drink for Tithi spider venom. The doctor said it would take time, but Perez explained that he had recently survived an assassination attempt using the same vernon. He then confessed that before the competition, he had secretly given the Emperor tea mixed with an antidote, just in case someone tried to p o i s o n him. The Emperor finally understood that Perez’s preparation had saved his life. After testing the drink, the doctor confirmed that it did contain Tithi spider venom. Furious, Emperor Jovanes ordered Perez to bring the Empress before him immediately. Perez instead suggested waiting a little longer so the Emperor could see how everyone behaved after believing he was dead. The Emperor agreed.
Outside the room, the Empress was terrified when she learned that the Emperor was alive. Perez politely invited her inside. She walked forward with shaking legs while Grandfather, Tia, and Perez followed. The room smelled strongly of medicine, and the Emperor looked pale and exhausted, but he was alive. The Emperor looked at the Empress and said, "I am alive. You must be happy, aren't you?" The Empress was speechless and could not answer.

I like to post spoilers for the stories I find interesting because I don't have much time to read novel due to busy schedule you will find me in most romantic historical manhwa comment sections

@Introvert So
Spoiler!
The Emperor then ordered Perez to bring in Head Maid Otua. Earlier, Perez had secretly questioned the maid after she returned from the Empress’s palace. Frightened of Perez, the maid confessed everything. She admitted that the Empress had ordered her to mix Tithi spider venom into the Emperor’s liquor. She even handed Perez the small bottle of poison she had used. Holding the bottle, Perez smiled quietly. He realized he had been fortunate to prepare in advance. Because he had already suspected danger and given the Emperor the antidote, the assassination failed. Now, with the maid's confession and the venomous bottle as evidence, Perez finally had proof of the Empress’s crime.
Maid Otua, actually secretly worked for both the Empress and Perez. Years ago, Perez told her that if the Empress ever tried to p o i s o n the Emperor, she should inform him first. In return, he secretly sent her a large amount of money every year. Bella maid's actual name) was never truly loyal to the Empress. She only obeyed her because the Empress threatened her family. Then Empress ordered Bella to p o i s o n Jovanes. Afraid for her life, Bella went to Perez and asked what she should do. Surprisingly, Perez told her to follow the Empress's order and pour the venom into the Emperor's drink. He explained that after the Emperor collapsed, they would immediately give him the antidote, so he would survive. Perez wanted to catch the Empress with clear evidence instead of letting her get away. Perez also reminded Bella that many years ago she had p o i s o n e d his food when he was a child living in the abandoned palace. He had known all along that she was the one doing it. Feeling guilty and terrified, Bella apologized and promised to obey Perez. He told her this was her chance to make up for her past mistakes.
Back in the present, after the Emperor collapsed from the venom, he questioned Bella about what had happened. She admitted that she had p o i s o n e d his drink and revealed that the Empress had ordered her to do it. The Empress immediately denied everything and accused Bella and Perez of working together to frame her. Bella then showed the bottle of poison that the Empress had given her. The Empress threatened Bella, trying to scare her into changing her story, but Bella bravely repeated the truth. Perez then presented the strongest piece of evidence, a letter written by the Empress asking her followers to obtain the deadly venom of a Tithi spider. When Emperor Jovanes read the letter, he finally realized that the Empress had truly planned to kill him. Furious, the Emperor ordered the knights to arrest Empress Ravini and throw her into the dungeon. At first, she fought violently and begged the Emperor to believe her. But when she realized there was no escape, she became furious and admitted that she wished the poison had actually killed him. She then turned her anger toward Perez, insulting him and saying she should have killed him and his mother long ago. She screamed that fate had always been against her because Perez kept ruining all of her plans. Finally, the Empress looked at Florentia and realized that she had also played a major role in her downfall. She blamed Florentia for everything, then suddenly began laughing uncontrollably like she had lost her mind. Crying and laughing at the same time, she was dragged away by the knights, while her mad laughter echoed through the palace.
