Why does everyone feel a need to 'test his power'??? And Akira also lacks the backbone to reject them. It doesn't matter if they have an aristrocatic title, THEY NEED HIS POWER. It's a matter of give and take.

@Gazni do you and everyone else who has this same complaint not understand the concept of hostages? So what if he's OP. His mother is fully capable of being captured, tortured, and/or killed especially due to her commoner status. He's already seen that the queen will even use Medis as leverage whether it be as a political pa** or just a tool of war. It has nothing to do with his "backbone." Use your brain instead of just saying "BuT mC is Op hE sHouLD jUsT BEaT eVeRyonE uP???"

" His mother is fully capable of being captured, tortured, and/or killed especially due to her commoner status."
and his FATHER stays with their family who is as almost as capable as Akira, meaning she's not hostage to anyone.

Every bit of it has to do with backbone. The backbone to deny that blind hero descendant (whatever her name was), the backbone to take a stance and realize self-worth.

Ok then Mr. Brainy, should he just bow down to everyone then? You're trying to play 'it's not realistic' game here but it's just backfiring on you.
@Gazni the father who legitimately JUST said he had to leave home for the time being?
Here, I'll break things down in lines for as well you since you think you did something but just further proved your ignorance in the process.
It was stated in the chapter with the woman "Her eyes are powerful enough to put people into trances while even being blindfolded" *Strike 1*
His mother is not the only person that can be used as a hostage, we've seen him make multiple friends and acquaintances AND his father just stated that he needed to leave home for awhile. It was simply an example, if you had actually paid attention while reading then you wouldn't need someone to point this out for you. *Strike 2*
"Ok then Mr. Brainy"
Yes, it's unrealistic for him to just do whatever he wants because his actions have an effect on more people than just himself.
You say he should put his foot down, yet he represents a whole nation alongside the princess during the meeting with the heroes and other national reps. You want him to start internal conflict between the humans just because you think he should be more assertive and disagree with nobles and heroes of higher status than him when there is legitimately no gain in doing so other than saying "I can say no if I want"? *Strike 3*
You want him to publicly deny the Queen of his nation as well when she can declare him and his family immediate criminals for doing so? Very logical thinking on your end.

@put it in reverse terry To be fair, he does have Aria who said that she'd level a nation that tries to force him to do something he doesn't want to do. Plus MC's dad isn't the only power house around the mom. She'd be fine with Aria around. With that said, it's a fictional story, there's no need to get heated over it.
