@Annie  legally she is not commoner . As, she bought a noble tittle

@Annie  our ml was way too heart broken to think about those stuff and even if someone wants to use her commoner past against her in the future they can't as she is an adopted daughter of a baron

@Annie he said "nobody like you" because her face is not familiar and during gatherings, those who are high enough do mingle with him. So he probably thought she was a noble from n unknown family.  Rationally, a commoner won't be able to meet him, or even enter through his gate. So he probably crossed out the fact that she's a commoner. He might have thought that Hestia was a nameless noble who was there for an appointment. The sudden proposal too, without her family sending a proposal along with a dowry says something about the standing of the bride's family.

And to be honest, she bought a title, so technically she is a noble. There won't be any issues marrying her unless the Marquis itself did not approve of it.

In the novel it was mentioned that the Duke he cornered was the only duke, so Cale, a marquis, is actually the next highest noble after the crown prince and the royal family. The saintess was a commoner too if i can point it out

@elixx_ that I know and didn't change anything. his first impression of her was that she was a commoner and everyone would think the same at first so her excuse of a marriage proposal was shameful considering that. that's what I said. it's not about who she is, it's about the cringe considering everything.

@Annie I mean Diana must be a commoner too right?
