Ok I'm taking back what I said about Taeyung... He wasn't perfect but it's clear he cared a lot about Heesoo and he's trying to protect him even in death... 😢
So the theory is becoming clearer: in highschool this Kitae guy was crazy in love with Heesoo and when Heesoo and Taeyung started dating, he felt betrayed and drowned himself in the reservoir and sort of cursed the place with his anger and spite. Then somehow, years later, Taeyung found himself harrassed by Kitae's ghost and got sort of possessed and forced to drown in the same reservoir. Ghost Kitae now thinks he can have Heesoo all for himself and takes the appearance of Taeyung, but the real Taeyung ghost is trying to prevent that from happening; probably because he died loving Heesoo and regrets that the last time they saw each other, they fought... Da** :(
