I don't think it's a matter of making him happy, I mean in the last episode you saw how even though the woman the black eyed prince called his mother died, she just straight up started commenting on his worth as a possible emperor. Also with that when Issac just wanted her to call him that again she didn't and said some hurtfull things instead. 

also just judging on her up bringing I don't think she's a sucker for love or happiness, maybe recognized, but that's the most of it
