@XxstarxX i dont know what all have with dragons, that are just big lizards with wings. a magical badger would be 100x more powerful than a dragon and he would be 1000x cuter!
in myth there are several ather creatures who could battle a dragon, like griffons. some would hunt dragons, like manticors. some would play with a dragon like an elephant with a rabbit, like the hydra. and some would simply not even see them as flyes, like medusa or jormungandr. and that are not even all mythical creaturs on the same step or way above dragons.

@pi bullshit ! You some pure pills hit with too much confidence. In the mangas I have read it not so . E.g duke pendragon ,e.t.c like some many of the . Dragon can be more of companions that pets compared to other monsters you mentioned. And dragon has a prestige to it . Have you griffon emperor or manticore emperor to represent someone as high level of strength. And dragons have levels too some are weak while some are strong. So don't diss a creature you don't know sh** about with more creatures you don't know sh** about.

1st, nothing, but in each comic you read there are this overexxerated lizards, and i feel annoyed that they are used as "ultimate beings" or so.
2nd, i dont talk about wyverns.
3rd. dragons are killeable by ppl in tin cans with "toothsticks", normal mortals without any magic, so how is more powerful? a big lizard who can fly and spit fire, or a mortal in a tin cans with a toothstick?
and read some myth books, there were a lot of mythical creatures who would look down on a "archdragon" and lough over this tiny weak thing.
lets take jormungandr as example, the world serpent, big enough to cyrcle around the world and scratch with his tail its own nose.
lets take rok/kungpeng, big enough to darken the sky if they fly high.
lets take hydra, 9 heads and each has its own elemental attack.
lets take manticore, who has a so strong poison that if it stings even arch dragons, they would die.
lets take medusa, 1 look and even gods would turn to stone.
lets take kraken, a being even the gods feared.
lets take fenrir, i think i dont have tosay anything about him, overmegaimba.

if you did read you would have noticed 1 thing, i did say I had enough from them and WHY they are so imagineless to use always the same sh**, like dragons, and WHY they could not use something else.
and about the ather monsters i mentioned, you did say becouse dragons were the strongest, and i put out some creatures who could play with a dragon like a tiger with a mouse. nothing more nothing less.
about if i fought dragons? sweety, i might be a little "far from reality", but not faar enough to not know what is real and what not......and i never fought dragons, but i hunted lizards, i did hunt froggs and toads too and did imagine that they were mighty foes like dragons, demons and what not, AS A CHILD! and i bet almost each older male person who lived as a child in a rural village did that, at last once, too^^
