When the author has to bring in a 100 different characters more effed up than the uke just to redeem him , you know how bad it is. The grandfather, the mother, the brother etc etc.

@SiofraSol thats like saying its wrong to read any kind of fiction with tragic stories. nobody is condoning abuse and this is just another form of fiction. i don't know if you think people are getting off on this(personally im not) but jeez man just because someone enjoys a story like this does not make them an abuser. like the previous person said you need to learn the difference between fiction and reality.
