It turns out that ML family was branded as traitors and killed by Duke. MC was manipulated by Duke to agree to this. So ML wants revenge not only on Duke, but on MC too, though he was just a kid manipulated by Duke bas****. MC after finding out the truth drinks poison (it should be abortion medicine, but MC will die). MC while dieing wishes to see Marstiel one more time, because despite the betrayal he still loves him. ML rushes to the prince side, but it's too late and there is no saving him. Afterwards it looks like MC woke up in the past, when he was still a kid. So I guess either he travelled to the past or got reincarnated into the past. The only thing that sucks that MC got into the past after he already imprinted on Duke, so despite MC knowing what will happen in the future, he is still tied to that fcking pedo bas**** again 😭

I feel so sorry for MC in both timelines 😭 In first the bad guy was Duke, though ML was also @ssholish. In second timeline Duke got payback quite fast and it's very satisfying. But in second timeline ML is even more @ssholish than in 1st timeline 😑 At least in 1st timeline ML had reasons for his behaviour, in 2nd one -just idiotic misunderstandings 🤦 It's a happy ending btw, but from the spoilers it looks like MC needed to end up with someone else, a real green flag alpha, who would genuinely feel and understand what poor MC went through both lives 😞
