Penelope now knows she has gastric cancer and feels miserable that she relieved to see her family at her bedside. She wonders why the system is showing her this now. When she is prompted again to accept the quest she does as she realizes the ending is going back to her real world. The system also awards her a wand that she can now use ancient magic with but warns that it requires a lot of metal and body power so use only when necessary.

The system then gives her one final message from the ancient wizards - she has been able to maintain the mirror with her money. She tries to curse them. Callisto catches her in his arms as the mirror crumbles. The moment she touched the mirror a carrier appeared and he couldn't touch her. He then notices her wand and then that she's crying. He hugs her and picks her up like a baby and takes her out of the underground tomb.
