@Angel with no wings How do they move at all without ATP energy? Muscles need energy to move and even viruses can't make "bricks" without "straw". You need a working body constantly pumping fluids in order for everything to work and without that, the best that the body can do is cannibalize itself in order to twitch and thrash for a very short period of time. It can't perform something as complex is walking or running much less climbing, jumping and biting someone. Even if they had a working body, without heat the body's fluids would freeze solid and they'd be locked in place like a frozen turkey. If you have heat then you also are burning calories and have a working body which means that you need to feed it organic "fuel" constantly.
So, yes, it doesn't make sense. Zombies have never made sense unless you include zombies that are created using magic. Then we can just attribute it to some sort of magical process and be done with thinking about it, the same way we accept skeleton soldiers.
