Pretty sure the REAL one is both personalities blended together. The more "day" becomes aware of his feelings the weaker "night" becomes. I think their being woven back together so to speak.
Sorry to say if I had to chose between the two, i'd rather "day". "Night" is far to predatory, he doesn't even seem to realize just how bad he is.
