They won't talk things out and solve anything if Ian continues to compare himself with Brian. The problem is Ian inferiority complex towards Brian. Yes everyone knows he's the reincarnation of Brian but no one is pressuring him to be the same. They even went and withhold the information from him hoping things will play out naturally. Ian's the one casting himself to be anxious and depressed by comparing. I think base on what we've seen so far Jack does love Ian and while we know that part of it is because he's the reincarnation of his former lover we can't ignore that he loves the person Ian of this time. If he didn't then he would've told him about their past together and stop at nothing to restore his memory. Yet instead he stays by Ian side and follow his lead without any pressure. Ian was thr one to initiate all the intimacy we've see so far. Is Jack curious of their similarities of course who wouldn't? The soul maybe the same but they are two separate individuals. The Cardinal didn't give Ian any freedom but manipulate him to stay by his side. Jack didn't do that and I think it's about time the truth about the Cardinal identity is revealed. Either way he must be from the past and had some feelings for Brian whether love or hate to be that obsessed with Ian.

So far everyone i've seen in the comment section has been saying abt how much they are pis*** of at jack for comparing brin and ian but i can see that he is not comparing them because of bad intentions. he is simply trying to figure out what ian's personality is and if he is questioning why he isn't doing samething as before in a certain situation, it is because jack is a half dragon and has been taught what human emotions are like so he will have no understanding of it but he still trying to understand ian and isn't putting force to bring ian to be right beside him like cardinal brixton (I don't remember how his name is written), either way i'm glad to see someone with the same thoughts about this as me for this situation

Same like jack is like forcing Ian to become his past self at least this blondy is accepting him as Ian care about Ian not his past self jack always compare Ian to his past self as if he don't love Ian he only love Brian now Ian is confused Ian is suffering here more than there when his with blondy at lease blondy is comforting Ian not Brian I think jack only cared about Brian 😭
