Potato, your age and immaturity is showing buddy, and the color green doesn't look good on you. 🙄 I think Yoon-Gu more than admires Jaekyung, he desires him. I feel like Jaekyung will make him realize things about his sexuality he didn't before - he's a burgeoning gay kid. With that said, he needs to pipe down a few octaves, acting like a b*tchy "pick me" and taking his frustration out on Doc Dan. It's not Dan's fault Jaekyung acknowledges you as much as the dirt underneath his shoe. He doesn't give two sh*ts about your admiration and desperation to be seen by him because he's an a**hole. It's not personal, that's just who he is. Potato's lucky he didn't cause Dan to pass out/get hurt, because Jaekyung may have actually killed him. His treatment of Dan is less than savory, but Doc is actually an essential part of his life (whether he admits it or not).

But just like I predicted, Potato is giving Doc Dan attitude because he's in a position he thinks he wants to be in (if only he knew, smh). So I think Potato will either be trouble for them down the line, or he will be the catalyst to something happening to Doc Dan, which in turn will take him away from Jaekyung for a while. Ultimately, this will lead to Jaekyung suffering from a string of bad events, the big one being losing a fight, badly. This will make him miss Dan and realize that he's actually more than a tool to him...he's an important/significant part of his life, and he ACTUALLY cares about him. 🤔🧐

@artsy_amusing Come on, let's be fair to Jaekyung. The whole team worships him. He is an exceptional athlete, their hyung and the world champion. He is not an ass**** to other guys who admire him just as much as potato because they are straight. You don't think a gay guy like Jaekyung has a working gaydar? He can tell this is kid is probably gay and doesn't want to encourage him. He is cute enough to be his type but what kind of team captain and hyung would seduce a fighter on his team or allow himself to be seduced? He career is his top priority so he takes his team and leadership very seriously. This kid is probably gonna publicly out both Dan and Jaekyung by accident or out of jealousy and mess up Jaekyung's carreer and undefeated record. But knowing Mingwa he won't get unjinxed as long as he remains in the closet.

@Bellum omnium contra omnes Potato boy is not his type if it comes to personality tho. Cause he actually WANT to be noticed by Jaek. And as we can see from his thinking moment in some chapter earlier he was trying everything and people like this doesn't work with him.
He is taking this athlete desire to achieve the best and literally grind your dreams to the love life as well.
Doc is a challenge for him that's why he is so crazy about him.

And we'll I don't think Jaek is good person if it comes to understand other people feeling.

He, gigachad, alpha of all alphas, top tier fuc*** and the mastermind of making love didn't notice Doc Dan has no s** experience. And always do this disgusting comments how experienced he is. So I can tell Jaek observations can be really tricky sometime.

Sometimes he look like he can literally look in people's minds and sometimes he act like a baby trying to put the triangle block in circle hole.

That's why I would not believe in his gaydar pepe sticker

But I copy and paste a message I wrote as a response to another comment. Tell me what you think:
I was wondering if the author of Jinx is not going to use this new dynamic of Dan’s training and in general his entry into the world of MMA as a vehicle for the development of their "relationship". Maybe I’m traveling too much with my mind, but it would be interesting if this was the way and the reason they both get closer, because Dan took an interest in the only "important" thing for Joon (although I often wonder if it matters to him just because it gives him fame and idolatry). We will see how this new narrative arc develops. For me the fundamental problem of their relationship is that their characterizations are incompatible: Joo is a sort of forastic animal and indomitable, rude and insensitive, also he imposes his power on anyone; while Dan is too servile to the limit of the submissive. This difference in height does not allow to unleash that fuse that could lead one of the two to have a improvement, but remain static in their relationship of power dynamics. So it would take an external factor to move the waters of their relationship. It does not necessarily have to be romantic, but also a relationship in which they begin to communicate with each other and to understand and know each other. Could happen through this amazing sport?
