Unpopular opinion, but Jaekyung is a decent human but is very clueless about how to treat his partner, probably because people did not ask him to stop the sh** behavior from fear?
There are many instances where this Jaekyung guy is taken aback by Dan, like as if he has never been in a situation like this before. But imo, more than doing something more shi*** to Dan, I think he'll make him more confident.
Grandma has to die, as an author I think if the grandma lives it won't add emotional depth to the character. Dan won't need money anymore, will get drunk (Dan drinks, bottles were shown besides his bed) and beaten up by those people, Jaekyung (who has by now started to realize his feelings for Dan) will go and find him, he will then hit those people, get caught up in a scandal (it was already hinted) and may lose his title (most likely to happen because Jaekhyung is human too and he is an emotional babygirl (trust me, he is))

i also feel like maybe the grandma should either die or like get better so he wont need the money anymore but i dont want her to dieeee Dan is gonna be so sad 
i really want to see those assh**** get beaten up though, that would be really refreshing
