I'm just trying to make an inappropriate joke but yes, teachers and parents are groomers. You know there are different types of grooming and there's a reason why most educators back in the 2010's tell you they are "grooming" you to be a responsible/functional adult.

"Grooming" : Preparing a person for a position requiring skilled behavior, especially by providing opportunity for practise and guidance in making the right decisions.

People have warped so many words due to the way they use them in our broken society. Grooming is not inherently a bad word or action, but is generally used by the media when describing something bad and that image immediately appears in your distorted and dirty minds when you hear/read the word... "Grooming" in it's immediate and accurate definition is actually a very positive thing and is exactly what your parents and teachers do.
