@Yolanda  she has been trying, but went about it the wrong way. When you care for a child that tends to make reckless decisions, sometimes you end up scolding them more often rather than first asking if they're okay or why they're acting that way because you're concerned. No matter how much you love them, it can be a hard habit to break, and for even more parents it can be even harder to realize it is a problem in the first place.

@lia  that's very true i can relate myself, i may not be a parents but i'm the oldest of my siblings, it's really hard to handle kids and it's hard to understand them, sometimes when they do things you'll forget to ask them y they did that and you just start being angry and telling them all sorts of things and ending up neglecting what they feel, i built up trust with my siblings that whenever they feel sad depressed happy or whatever they open up to me, but some things are just unavoidable and sometimes it's hard to side with anyone when it involves your parents, they often argue to me why I didn't defend them (ik i should've been there with them whenever that happens) but parents are just scary to the point that i myself know that my siblings think im more of a parent figure than our patents that's why it's so hard for me
