Sure, hummingbird is not lacking. They care, they want to help vinny by winning. But when things keep delaying, when time is not in the palm of your hands, you would surely choose the sure money and turn your back to everything. People would say, it's just money, friends and moral are more important, but would you dare say it if your mother is dying and you can't afford to get her proper treatment? Money matters. You can't buy happiness they say, but happiness won't pay bills. It won't save the people you love. It's sad. Vinny and Joker's life is the reality of people who are not privileged enough in life. Choices are for rich people only. In reality of the poor, the only choice we have to grab whatever rope people offer, regardless on what's the other end of it, as long as it would guarantee something we need.
