I had already seen the spoilers, so this isn't a surprise, but now it does make sense how her father was able to just force her to go back home with him when she was still waiting for Riftan. And having a miscarriage while working in a battle ground is such a reasonable thing to happen, it's obvious the king was just using low hanging fruit to oppose a marriage that he already dislikes. But accepting that means accepting that the duke failed to win the crown's good graces, so we gotta put our idiot hats on and make this somehow be Maxi's fault.

@Ana Cecília it isn't her fault and that's the whole point. We know that. Everyone else knows that, he** I'm sure even her father deep down knows that but the difference is he didn't give a sh**. Because no matter what she does she's an embarrassment and a woman.
