He doesn't like that even after all this, she isn't bending to his will and is STILL fighting back.
This type of stuff is loss of control. He's "angry" (not in the typical/usual sense) that she never managed to become dependent despite everything and is taking it out by a violent method --> Burning/murder (is what I expect?)
