@Link Sagiri Random theory: It's not just his spending to beat outer gods and give his kids gifts that's a problem, it's that the servants and retainers still embezzle money just as they did when the jerkass father and brothers ruled the roost, but without the underworld income, there's much less money to embezzle from, so the effects are felt more. Hence why the faction leader income is so needed.
