Ch. 195
I kinda get why he would fall in love with her, since they knew each other since they were young and all, it's easier for kids to get feelings and they literally lived together so ...
It's not incest so those who say it is are weird:)
I'm bad with names👌🤌

@Bread doesn't matter if they are blood related or not. The duke brought Penelope in as a daughter. Just cause they "weren't close" when they grew up doesn't make it any less nasty. And it absolutely is weird. The fact that you see nothing weird about it makes you weird too.

@aoi its literally not nasty? It's weird yes, but it's not incest in any way shape or form
That dude never saw her as a sister and saw her as a stranger???
If he would've seen her as a sister and had feelings for her THAT is weird
But he never did, and it's UNDERSTANDABLE he might've caught feelings from a young age because he was A KID who never saw her as a sister
And if you read at least a little about kids psychology you would understand what I am talking about and see past the "aw naaarwww they are in the same family not blood related but in the same family non the less it must be incest☹️😗✌️"
In his mind she literally was a person OUT of the family because he knew she wasn't the real sister but a substitute
Plus he never acted on those feelings, he never even understood them really
That's why I talk about the fact that he was a kid when he might've caught something of the sort, as an adult he did repress them because it's improper
And no I won't be defending real incest nor people who have a fetish for it because it's truly disgusting :)
I hate Derick as a character, one of the worst in this manhwa, so it's not why I defend him either, it just weirds me out when people are so sensitive nowadays)

@aoi literal meaning of incest btw

Incest iss s** between close relatives, such as a brother, sister, or parent. This typically includes any kind of sexual activity between people in consanguinity (blood relations), and sometimes those related by lineage.

Just for your cultural knowledge

@Bread I know what incest means, ty for explaining what I already know. Besides saying "it does not matter whether or not they are blood related", I did not say it was incest now, did I? My point was that it's weird either way.
Reynold didn't see her as a sister either, yet he never developed romantic feelings for her. And Derrick did not have those feelings when they were kids, they only appeared after Penelope changed. Childhood psychology would only be relevant if he had those feelings as a kid, but the novel doesn’t show or mention that + no one has said that it's been shown -- if I am not wrong. Him not treating her as a sister doesn't mean that it's reasonable to develop romantic feelings later. And considering he's an adult and no longer a child, he should know that it's wrong and stupid. So your argument doesn't really work.
And I'm sure I know about psychology more than you, considering I focus on that area, so ya ^_^ Feel free to keep arguing but you're wrong about basically half of what you've said. Have a good day ❤️

@aoi why did you have the need to reply to my comment saying "if you see no problem with this your weird" after me saying I find people weird for calling it incest)) of course if assume you called it incest as well

@aoi wowww assuming sh** about me? Good grief I guess everything you said and all the arguments you introduced are based off of your own assumptions since it's the only thing you know how to do)
Anyways have a good day I am not going to continue taking to a person who does no research before talking on a matter)
Have a good day love
