Her mom letting her befriend her former hookups is weird asf. Like how do you allow men that were worshipping and gooning over you to meet your child, who they're suspiciously so fond of?? Thalia has no friends her age. The closest to a friend she ever had was Varkas. Even though she acts shitty, it's all because of the mom's influence and the loneliness basically everyone in the empire made her feel. Like I'm not gonna lie, I'd act like her too if I had to survive alone, with everyone hating my guts. Her acting like that is her way of protecting herself, her defense mechanism. And I really don't blame her for it (not that I condone her actions though)
