@Halo Multi-classing is a no-brainer. Taking even just a single level in another class can fix major weaknesses. For example, a Wizard or Sorcerer dipping into Fighter at level 1 or 2 gains heavy armor, shield proficiencies, and Action Surge for massive defensive and tactical boosts. Also, certain class pairings like Paladin/Sorcerer or Warlock/Sorcerer can unlock devastating combo attacks (such as "Smiting" with expanded spell slots). So technically this is a fighter-mage and a mage fighter fighting. 😜
