Ofc garam has the right of being afraid for coming out, i also experience it, but garam is afraid of evrything, a lot of things happened in the relationship, not just bc he is afraid of lmao, bro hide his birthday saying "that would come off a bit harsh", giving excuses to himself that he missing the timing, bro just say it in a casual message if is not that important to you lmao acted totally weird about the ring and not explaining why he is afraid, like he smacked the sh** out of the hand of jaehyuk even when he prepared a surprise for him, he acted so a** bc of the photo sesion that jae worked and the interview implying that he's crazy for saying he has a partner when he never specifies their gender or anything like that—he's just a guy who's proud of his partner. There is a lot of thing that would be ok if he just talked out but he hide everything and is annoying in a relationship, i totally get jae for being pis*** And yeah, the “don't let Garam go” approach might sound stupid, but now that I think about it, Garam seems like the type who would go months or even years without talking to someone and then say, “Well, I guess time has passed, he probably doesn't love me anymore, so I better not talk to him,” and stuff like that, He's already made up quite a few scenarios, treating them as fact when that was never the case
