@Misanthropist in her past life I think the events have smtg to do with this mephisto guy he is if I remember correctly a sorcerer whom she is tryna find... the guy with blue hair matches the vibe that mephisto is described with and now as we see the two followers of his fainting at the sight of this man who is a sorcerer yet also working where she works... I don't remember much about details but her past life is more like a rebirth in the same timeline if I am not wrong... I am sure someone will explain it better than me my memory is abhorrent

First off, that guy is not mephisto. They will soon explain the religion and the different chiefs aka Kalepa in this religion. And this guy is a Kalepa,one of the chief...at least, officially, to the world. But for the followers of this religion, they know that he is not just a Kalepa, he is THE Kalepa, their God. And for the fact that she finds him familiar ... he is linked with her first pact and a very very deep past.
