well, mathew kinda deserved that. Drugging jin wasnt the best option. Just restraining him there  with chains or whatever may wouldve work better. Drugging someone without their permission no less. Jin's mental state is already not well. And he trusted mathew. His past trauma of getting drugged repeated by the person he trusted the most But i can understand it too. Mathew was more then desperate. But jin's trust is now broken. And he is really hurt this time.
